Terms & Conditions – A&S Entertainments Ltd

Right, here’s the deal—if you’re hiring a bouncy castle or inflatable from us, this is the stuff you need to know. We’ve kept it plain and simple so there’s no confusion. It’s just a way to keep things fair and safe for everyone.

Booking with A&S means you’re okay with everything written below.

1. Insurance and What You’re Responsible For

If we’re not supervising, then you’ll need to sort your own insurance for your event—especially in case anything happens.

We’ve got public liability cover, but that’s just for our side of things.

2. What If the Weather’s Rubbish?

Keep an eye on wind using a weather app (or the Met Office if you want to be proper).

If it starts gusting over 24mph, switch it off and pack it down—no arguments, it’s not worth the risk.

3. Money Stuff: Paying, Cancelling, Getting Refunds

Pay by card, bank transfer, or cash (just let us know first).
We need a deposit within 24 hours to hold your booking.
The rest needs to be paid 48 hours before your event.
Cancel with more than 7 days’ notice? No charge.
Cancel with 7 days or less? 50% charge.
72 hours or less? It’s 100%—unless we’ve agreed otherwise.
No refunds if you cancel after we’ve delivered.
If it rains, we don’t refund, but we might let you move the booking once. Can’t promise though.
Please double-check your space and surface are right—we won’t refund if it doesn’t fit or isn’t safe.

4. Delivery Details

If we can’t get to your space because of blocked access, no parking or no permit, we’ll have to leave—and you’ll lose your deposit.
If we get a parking ticket because a permit wasn’t sorted, we’ll have to pass that charge onto you.

5. Supervision & Safety Bits

Someone aged 18+ needs to be watching the inflatable the entire time. No exceptions.
That person needs to stop rough play, overcrowding, or mixing big kids with toddlers.
No food, drinks, sharp stuff, face paint or silly string on the inflatable.
No climbing on the walls, and no wrestling matches either.

6. How to Use the Gear

Don’t run it in heavy rain or strong wind—it’s not safe.
Keep plugs and blowers dry. Water and electrics don’t mix.
Don’t move the setup around—leave it where we put it.
Sumo suits? Mats and safety gear are a must.
If we have to collect soft play balls that weren’t packed away, there’s a fee. (£25 ball deposit will be requested on delivery and refunded provided all balls are in ball pond on collection.)

7. Setting Up

We don’t carry inflatables up more than 3 steps or over anything taller than 12 inches.
Got underground pipes or cables? Let us know beforehand. We’re not liable if pegs hit them.
It’s up to you to make sure access is clear and safe.

8. Overnight Hires

If you’re keeping kit overnight, make sure it’s locked up. You’re responsible for anything that happens to it.

9. Packing Up

Only we collect the gear. Don’t hand it to someone else—even if they say they’re from us.

10. Final Things to Know

We’re not liable for injuries, damage, or lost stuff during your hire.
The equipment always stays ours.
You’re responsible for getting any permits or paperwork you need.
